Alishar copper mineralization, located in Markazi province, is situated 20 kilometers north of the Arak city. Structurally this mineralization is located on Orumieh-Dokhtar magmatic arc having moderate topography. 21 rock samples were collected from different geological units in order to study mineralogy and lithology by preparing 6 thin and 18 polished sections. Then, two stages of regional geochemical sampling were taken by collecting 18 lithogeochemical samples. All 18 samples were analyzed for multi-elements including Cu, Au, As, Mo. Statistical analyzes were done on the results in order to extract the hidden information inside dataset. Different maps were created displaying the anomalous samples among them. Additionally this study included analysis of ASTER and ETM + satellite images to highlight the phyllic, argillic and propylitic alterations which might be related to possible mineralized zones. Different techniques such as band ratio, selective principal component analysis, spectral angular mapper, combined adaptive filter are employed for processing. According to the field observations and preliminary analysis of copper mineralization in the area, mineralization type is likely to be porphyry. In addition, to map mineralization potential of t
