Lignonocellulosic materials are kinds of nonfossil resources which have high potential for production of value added products, that can be attend as an alternative for fossil energy resources. Sugarcane bagasse is a major example of these materials. Many works have been done due to production of alone products like sugars (glucose, xylose and …), furfural, acetic acid, bioethanol and … but don't encourage successful results because of over costs of process. Using maximum potential for production of variety products is one way for solution of this problem. Attempts in this thesis focus on dilute acid hydrolysis of sugarcane bagasse for production of furfural and glucose in pilot scale. For this reason, a two stages process was designed in which in first stage furfural and in the other glucose has being produced. Reducing numbers of tests, evaluation of optimum conditions and determination of relative importance of dependent factors, taguchi method has been used. Respectively the factors for first and second stages are pressure of reactor, concentration of acid and duration of reaction and pressure and duration. The levels are 6,8 10 bar, 1,4 5% and 120,240 360min and 14,20 26 bar and 4,7 10 min for first and second stages, respectively. In whole tests of second stage the concentration was 0.5%. For whole process the proposed condition for first stage is 8bar, 1% 120min and 20bar, 0.5% 7min for second stage.
