WRF is one of the most widely used software in the field of meteorology. The main goal of this study is to develop the required technical knowledge of using this software for the weather forecast of Iran. For this purpose, considering the Earth curvature, the amount of deviation from hydro-static equilibrium and, the effect of fluid turbulence, the governing equations of atmospheric fluid, which are based on Euler equations are derived. In the next step, the mathematical models, used in the software, along with their related parameters are described; furthermore, the appropriate methods of solving the equations is explained. Finally, to develop a tool for the weather forecast of Iran, the received meteorological data from the Atmospheric Science Meteorogical Research Center (ASMERC) is fed into the software and the software parameters are properly adjusted. For sake of verification, the output results of the software for Iran, Qom and Gilan provinces are analyzed in the ARWPOST software and then, using Grads software, the rain contours are plotted. It is shown that the simulation results in WRF for rainfall amount in these provinces are perfectly matched with those of the ASMERC, which indicate the correct implementation of the software.
