: In this thesis designing and manufacturing of a three dimension laser scanner is put to study. A component's geometric model which has unknown dimension and levels could be present by this machine with a high accuracy in computer designing invironment. To manufacture such a machine, first; all the available methods for scanning surfaces with each other is compared, then using laser method as a most precies and skilfull method is chosen. Additionally right selection of hardwares in this machine's construction caused high reduction of construction's costs comparing with similar samples. A software is designed for this made laser scanner in this thesis that the operator can control machine's performance totally by using this software. Availability of this capability leads a decrease in number of unnecessary movements. One of the most important and critical cases which is expected in this machine is high accuracy, so in this study, effective factors on measuring accuracy and error reduction method in results of this machine is considered as a main part of this thesis. In these trails standard length and angle gauges is used in order to impress scanner depth and radiation angle on results. Finally,errors are reduced by using sub-program and supposing the independence of error effects on each other.
