In this research, an analytical model for Bus enhanced NoC architecture is proposed. Generally, for evaluating a specific interconnection infrastructure , there are two methods: simulation and analytical model. Simulations based on events that happen in the system may take a long time. Using an analytical model is more p recise and cost-effective tool. For this reason, several analytical models have been proposed by researchers for communication networks. Among several analytical models which have been propo sed for Wormhole-routing network on chip only few of them have focused on fully adaptive routing. On the other hand, to the best of our knowledge, there is not any analytical model for hybrid Bus-NoC. In this research, a new analytical delay model presented for this type of NoC. We first present an analytical model for this type of NoC, then improvement of mesh analytical model is done and finally, we combine the mesh and segmented bus. Accuracy of presented model results is verified by comparing them with simulation results under different working conditions. Keywords: System on Chip, Network on Chip, Segmented Bus, Analytical Model
