In part I, a new trans -Pd (II) complex, trans - [Pd(Mox) 2 (OAc) 2 ], (Mox= Moxifloxacin drug) was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, NMR, and mass spectroscopy. Thermogravimetery analysis has been used to determine the thermal stability of the complex. Glycoluril and cucurbit[6] uril have been synthesized according to previous methods and characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and thermogravimetery analysis. The Pd complex was loaded on cucurbit[6] uril support, then converted to palladium nanocatalyst by sodium borohydride solution. This nanocatalyst was used as a heterogeneous catalyst for nitro aromatic reduction reaction. Nanocatalyst was characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), inductively coupled plasma analyzer (ICP) and thermogravimetery analysis. In part II, the complex was loaded on cucurbit[6] uril support. UV-Vis spectroscopy, emission titration, circular dichromism and viscosity measurement methods have been used to study the binding interaction of ligand, Pd (II) complex with calf thymus deoxyribonucleic acid (CT-DNA). The analysis result show that ligand, complex and hybrid (CB[6]@Complex) can interact with DNA via minor groove binding. It was found that the binding constant (K b ) of ligand, complex and nanohybrid toward BSA were (3.83×10 5 ), (6.48×10 3 ) and (2.95×10 3 ) respectively. Competitive binding using Eosin-Y, Ibuprofen and Digoxin site markers with definite binding site demonstrated that binding site for ligand and complex were mainly located within site (II) of BSA. In addition, molecular docking studies have been conducted to determine the binding site of DNA and BSA with samples. Finally, the in-vitro cytotoxicity of Mox, complex, CB[6] ,nanohybrid and cis -platin were carried out against breast cancer .(M4T) and colon cancer (CT26) cell lines. After using Moxifloxacin as a ligand for synthesis of the palladium complex value of (IC 50 ) clearly reduced. Furthermore loading complex on CB[6] improved (IC 50 ) values against the M4T cell lines.
