In this work, green Synthesis of polyfunctionalized 4H-pyrans pharmaceutical derivatives developed by one-pot three-component reaction of malononitrile, aldehyde, and ethyl acetoacetate in the presence of Fe 3 O 4 @Asp as magnetic nanocatalyst in an ethanol solvent. Fe 3 O 4 @Asp nano-catalyst was obtained by coating of Aspartic acid on the surface of Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles. The catalyst was characterized by FT-IR, XRD and TGA analysis. Morphology and size of Fe 3 O 4 @Asp were studied by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). In the next step, the reaction between benzaldehyde, malononitrile, and ethyl acetoacetate were selected and their behavior was studied under different conditions. The best results from the reaction of benzaldehyde, malononitrile and ethyl acetoacetate obtained at molar ratios of 1: 1: 1 at 70 o C and at the presence of 10% weight percentage of the catalyst that calculated to aldehyde weight ratio for 6 hours in ethanol. The final precipitate is separated by the filter paper, washed and purified using hotethanoland identified by color, melting point, IR and NMR analysis.
