In this research, series of novel covalent organic frameworks based on triazine ring were synthetized by condensation reaction (Schiff base) of triamine, trialdehyde and terephthalaldehyde monomers. COF-DATA was prepared by triamine and terephthalaldehyde monomers and COF-TATA was synthesized from triamine and trialdehyde monomers. These porous polymers characterized by various of techniques such as FT-IR, BET,TGA, PXRD diffraction, element analysis and their morphology investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The porous structure of COF-DATA and COF-TATA confirmed by CO2 and N2 adsorption / desorption study. Surface area and pore volumes size showed respectively up to 1934 m2/g, 1/5 cm3/g , 100 m2/g and 0/3 m3/g. carried out COF- DATA in order to removal copper(II) and COF-TATA for uptake cadmium(II). the sorption kinetics and isotherm of these sorbents were investigated. The result showed the kinetic adsorption for both sorbent could be desirable by a pseudo- first order model. According to the relevant R2, the Langmuir model showed the best fit for both polymers. The highest capacity sorption for Cu(II) was found 89 mg.g-1 with pH 7 at the end of 70 min and for Cd(II) achieved 369 mg.g-1 at pH 10 in 25 min.
