Benzene is known as the cancer reason in recent years; hence too much effort are done to withdraw it from environment by using it at laboratories and industrial sections. The most important application of it is synthesis of phenol and its derivativies which almost always are done by oxidation of benzene. The main procedure in order to synthesis phenol is, “Cumene process”. This process is beneficial due to usage of low cost reagents; however, it also has some disadvantages, for instance high energy consumption, side product like acetone, and also high pressure and temperature condition. As the matter effect catalytic oxidation of benzene to phenol achieved so much attention in recent years. According to recent reasons so much effort is done to the perpuse of acquiring phenol with high yield and selectivity by desigining a heterogenous nanocatalyst base on titanium dioxide as a support in this work. By using vanadium pentoxide as catalyst on a support of titanium dioxide high promotion of reaction yield was achieved. Afterall, the prepeared catalyst was determined by BET, FESEM, EDX-Mapping, XRD, TEM, XPS, and ICP. Finally, the prepeared nanaocatalyst was used for benzene oxidation, and the optimum condition for the reaction was gained. All in all optimum condition for temperature, time, oxidant and catalyst amount parallel to yield and selectivity of phenol was achieved.
