In this study, catalytic effect of Fe2O3 and Fe2O3/SiO2 catalysts on morphology and properties of simple and sulfur-doped carbon spheres synthesized by CVD method, investigated. For the more the temperature effect on structure of these carbon spheres are investigated. Based on results, temperature increase to 850? lead to decrease in carbon spheres size, while more temperature increase to 900? lead to destruction of these spheres. In the following study, the temperature synthesis of these carbon spheres set to 800?. In the second part of this study gold nanoparticles with different percentage decorated on previously synthesized carbon spheres. In the last stage of this study carbon spheres which decorated with gold nanoparticles applied for adsorption of DBT from model fuel, the structure of catalysts characterized with XRD, also as synthesized carbon Nano spheres (bare and gold Nano particles decorated) characterized with FESEM, EDS, TEM, Raman and TGA/DTA. The DBT adsorption investigated by UV-Vis spectrometer, the results show, 98.6% from 20 ppm fuel, which demonstrate efficiency of these type of carbon sphere in sulfur containing compound from fuel.
