TPPCo-L complexes in which TPP was introduced as tetraphenylporphyrin dianion, L as mono anions of 4-Nitro phenylcyanamide(4-NO 2 Pcyd), 4-Flouro phenylcyanamide(4-FPcyd), and 4-Chloro phenylcyanamide(4-ClPcyd), 4-Bromo phenylcyanamide(4-BrPcyd); and cobalt had the II and III oxidation numbers in the applied compounds.The above complexes were prepared via reacting TPPCoBr and TPPCo with the relevant phenylcyanamide thallium salts.Synthesis of these compounds was confirmed through H-NMR, IR, and Uv-Vis spectroscopy. 4-Nitro phenylcyanamide was investigated by means of X-ray spectroscopy and 13 C-NMR.The mentioned molecule was crystallized in monoclinic system with C2/c space group and unit cell dimension of a = 109222(8) ?, b = 10.3308(7)? and c = 13.3912(10)?.Alfa, beta and gama were 90 o , 95.2752(61) o و 90 o respectively. The previous complexes are potential candidates for electrochemical researchs; and have lots of applications in nanotechnology specially in computer memories.
