In this work, a novel MIP-coated SPME fiber was prepared by polymerization emulsion method. For this purpose, first zirconium oxide nano particles were applied to activate fiber surface and then, mixture of zirconia nanoparticles and PVA was coated by electrospining techniqe on a stainless-steel fiber. After the activation process, micelles were formed around the fiber, controlling the polymerized layer on the fiber surface. Raw materials for polymer formation are less than the other methods. To investigate of capability of prepared fiber, acetaminophen was used as a test compound. The effects of different parameters influenceing on the extraction efficincy such as pH, stirring rate, salt sffect, extraction temperature and extraction time were optimized. The results shows good linearity in the concentrations between 2 and 100 ng /mL. Limits of detection, calculated as the signal equal to three times background noise using chromatograms of samples spiked at the lowest level, was 0.4 ng/ml. Developed procedures were applied to urine obtained from volunteer person. The samples were screened using corona discharge ion mobility spectrometry (CD–IMS). The investigated relative recoveries at three spiking levels ranged from 88 to 93% with RSD (%) values below 7%.
