owadays, human life is dependent on fundamental infrastructures. Traortation infrastructure is one of them. A large number of trips are carried out during a day in a city. So, a strong traortation system is needed for performing these trips in a right way. Thus, it is necessary to detect sensitive and vulnerable locations of a network. According to this, city managers and researchers are attracted to vulnerability analyses. Community detection is a common method among a wide spectrum of vulnerability analysis methods. Community is a set of network nodes, which have strong connections within each other, and weak connections with other parts of the network. In current study, vulnerable locations of Isfahan road network were detected by community detection algorithms. These methods are much easier than conventional assignment methods, and have lower complexity. Therefore, these methods can help managers in quick network analyses with high accuracy and speed. In this study Infomap algorithm and betweenness centrality index have been used for detecting vulnerable spots. In this research road network converted to a graph, and communities have been detected by dynamic relations and the how flow passes throw the network`s graph. Road capacity, flow, length proximity, time proximity, and unit weights have been used as weights of network links. After that communities have been detected by Infomap algorithm. Border areas between communities are considered as weak parts of the network. Additionally, links with high betweenness centrality are weak spots as well. It can be really efficient for managers and urban planners to put these weak areas in highest priority by strengthening or adding new streets for network development plans. According to analyses, following links are weak locations of Isfahan network: links in two sides of the river, southern parts of Raddanipur highway, eastern parts of Kharazi highway, southern parts of Atashgah Street, Eastern parts of Sayyad Shirazi highway, southern parts of Kaveh Street, central streets such as Nikbakht, Sayed Ali Khan, and some parts of Chaharbagh.
