The type of vegetation and bedforms change the hydraulic characteristics in river. The purpose of present study is to investigate the effect of pool bedform and its interaction with vegetated bottom in turbulent flow characteristics. The experiments were conducted in a flume of 16 m long, 0.9 m wide, and 0.6 m deep. In laboratory studies, the channel bed form was covered by gravel with a median diameter of 10 mm and the flume bed was covered by artificial grass as vegetation with 2cm height. The experiments were carried out for two crest slopes 5 and 10 degrees for input and output respectively, two mean velocities and 8 Key words : Pool bed form, Vegetation, Flow structure, Quadrant analysis.
