Today a special consideration is given to human communicational sciences but unfortunately this issue in Iran has not been considered very much due to the fact that Iran is a country in which religious minorities are living and there are different discourses and accents in it. Of course in some separate studies emotional intelligence has been verified. But no study has been done up to present time with regard to interpersonal communicational styles except publishing and translating some books in a limited extent. The aim of present study is to investigate different courageous (emotional intelligence)، aggressive and passive communicational styles in urban- rural societies in Khorasan Razavi province. In this descriptive- analytical study, 312 individuals were selected randomly from city and village residents of Khorasan Razavi province. A combinational questionnaire composed of emotional intelligence of ar – on، Shiring , Buss and Perry was used as data gathering tool that its fluency and stability was confirmed by Cronbach , s Alpha coefficient as 0.837 . Data were analyzed by both descriptive statistics، and F test and Pearson correlation coefficient. The Mean value of emotional intelligence and passive relationship in urban and rural societies have significant relationship but mean value of aggressive relationship has not been significant in three investigated societies.Mean Respectively, the Mean for emotional intelligence in Rural, Ruban and city are: 48.1, 47.40, 44.62.Also Respectively, the Mean for aggressive in Rural, Ruban and city are: 38.89, 37.81, 37.99.Also Respectively, the Mean for passive in Rural, Ruban and city are: 41.49, 38.86, 40,72. Also there has been correlation between educational levels and individuals’ residence place with communicational styles. Also based on the results, the more emotional intelligence, but the less agrrressive and passiveness .
