Soils contaminated with petroleum compounds is not suitable for agricultural land, residential and recreational control and removing this material from the soil are essential and communities must assume appropriate methods to this important matter. Among the biological methods,,much attention has bee paid to use of plants to reduce pollution that so called phytoremediation. Recently, for greater success in the phytoremediation of oil pollutions and more reducing of these compounds in the soil, has been used right combination of solutions . Effect of carbon and zeolite nanotubes as a contributor matter to the growth of plants in environments contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons on its Phytoremediation process is the aim of this study. Initial petroleum hydrocarbons in the soil had been 35/6 per cent.so, The seeds of triticale plants with a solution of multi-walled carbon nanotubes with a concentration of 10 mg per liter is treated And in the soils with four levels of contamination, contaminated soil to clean soil ratio (1:1, 1: 2, 1:3 and full-contaminated soil) and a control soil that these soils mixed with 10% of mineral pot capacity of powdered zeolite were cultivated. After 12 weeks, plants were harvested, finally, the roots Samples were taken from an area. The results showed that the contaminated soil treated with zeolite and 10 mg liter carbon nanotube is formed aerial highest performance of plant aerial organ. Which reflects the positive impact of this treatments to plant growth and dry biomass, also , the soils mixed to zeolite have have greatest impact o removing petroleum hydrocarbons . Overall, results showed that the use of materials such as zeolites and carbon nanotubes had been affected on cleaning mechanisms of oil pollutants by plant.
