. Sand cat ( Felis Margarita ) is from family cat ( Felidae ) is a small cat that has distribution in desert sand areas North Africa, Arabica, Central Asia, Pakistan and also in the steppe and desert areas of Iran . Since this Species is classified by IUCN as near Threatened and located in the CITES Convention ??II annex, is important to protect of this Species and their Habitats. Since successful protection of this species is requires comprehensive understanding of the ecology and their interaction with environmental factors, So determine Habitat Suitability is a key and necessary component in the wild life species concervation and management. Baysian Belief Network () is an appropriate method for habitat suitability modeling. This networks, are graphical models, That accommodate the probabilistic relationships between variables and combine different sources of informations. In this model, drawn causal structure and relations between the most important variables influencing on the species in the form of a influence diagram, and after experts comments chang to the inital Baysian model. They performance model will be examined by sensitivity. Accuracy model has been done by use of 60 point of presence and 60 point of absence in the east Isfahan province. The model correctly predicted %99.33 of points of presence and %100 of absence for species. According to this model the most important parameters that are effective on habitat suitability sand cat, the order of priority are as follows: denning possibility, prey density, distance to woodlands. The model’s results not only can put together whole the opinion experts and quantitative data field studies and satellite maps, but also created suitable foundation for use in sand cat habitat management.
