Persian leopard( Panthera pardus saxicolor )is one of the largest leopard suecies native to west Asia and it is The total study area is about 16553 km2 and GLM, GBM, RF and MAXENT respectively predicted 80%, 30%, 15% and 57% of the total area as suitable habitats for the species. The Final ensemble model predicted about 27% of the total area as optimal habitats for the Persian leopard. The average importance of variables was calculated for all models and two variables including distance to city and roadand topography were the most important influential variables on the distribution and habitat suitability of the leopard. The results of this research can be used to identifying potential habitats for the Persian leopards for further conservation and prioritizing the conservation of existing habitats.
