The main objective of this research is to determine the most important climatic elements influencing on distribution of Artemisia sieberi and Artemisia aucheri using multivariate statistical methods in Isfahan province with an area equal to 106175 square kilometers . therefore, a database of 39 climatic elements with great importance in relation with ecological condition of Artemisia sieberi and Artemisia aucheri was prepared. A 14*14 kilometers geographical network was applied and 523 points were determined. Reduction of data matrix using factor analysis, varimax rotation, and climate zonation by hierarchical cluster analysis of ward method, were the next steps of the research. Results from this research indicate 3 factors. Including, rainfall, temperature and shining with 41.91, 40.18 and 10.23 percent, respectively, to cover 92.3 percent of total variance. Using these factor scores 7 bioclimatic zones were determined in Isfahan province a 1-humid and cold2-semi humid and cold 3-semi arid and cold 4-semi arid and warm 5-warm and arid and windy 6- warm and arid 7-very warm and arid. The average of elementary climatic variables in this regions were determined. Then 4 most important type of distribution of Artemisia aucheri and sieberi in Isfahan province revealed as 1- Artemisia aucheri and Astragalus 2- Artemisia sieberi 3- Artemisia sieberi as a dominant specie 4- Artemisia sieberi as a sub dominant species. The effects of climatic factors and variables on distribution of these species were determined. The effects of factor analysis on these typies show that rainfall and temperature are the most important factors in distribution of Artemisia aucher i and Artemisia sieberi in Isfahan province. Artemisia aucheri and Artemisia sieberi make a most appearance In semi humid and cold region and warm and dry region.
