Muteh Gold Mine which is located in 160 Km of north west of Isfahan city, on the Sanandaj-Sirjan zone, is one of the most important gold mines in Iran. In this study the Delijan 1:100000 sheet has been evaluated in terms of gold mineralization. The goal of this study is to identify those spots that are similar to Muteh Gold Mine concerning petrological, structural and alteration characteristics and then to introduce them as a new potential. In order to reach this goal, at first, by providing the ASTER images of the region, the area was studied and defined. Then, in order to access these results, we used methods such as Band Rate (BR), Color Combinations (RGB), Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Constrained Energy Minimization (CEM), Least Squares Fit ( Ls-Fit), Linear Spectral Unmixing (LSU), Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM) and Matched Filtering (MF). CEM proved to be more effective than other methods in detection of alterations. After performing different stages of processing satellite images, three types of alterations were selected as end members. Muscovit as the representative of Phyllic alteration. Kaolinite as the representative of Argillic alteration and Goethite as the representative of Iron Oxides were selected. Furthermore, by using directional filters in different directions, the actual faults in the region were detected. In order to study the region in accordance with geology and petrology, the 1:250000 geological map of Golpayegan was provided and the data from Delijan 1:100000 sheet were derived from this map. In continue, airborne geomagnetic data of the area were provided. For using geomagnetic data, Reduction to the Pole (RTP) correction was performed on these data. After preparing alteration, fault, geological and geophysical layers, we used “fuzzy logic” in order to integrate these layers. This was done in GIS environment and ultimately the map of gold mineralization potential in Delijan 1:100000 sheet was produced. In this map some areas in north east and south west of Delijan 1:100000 sheet were introduced as promising areas that Muteh’s ninefold indices are also located in this line. In fact, the detected areas and Muteh’s gold indices have follow a north east trend which is aligned with the main faults of this region.
