The study area consists of 1:100000 Geological sheet of Nir, located in the south-southwest of Yazd Province, in the middle part of Urmia-Dokhtar Volcanic Belt, and within the area of ??the Dehshir fault zone. Based on geological and lithological studies, and based on the type of alteration and mineralization, the Chah Zard Deposit can be In order to do geological studies and to identify the rock units which are in relation to the mineralization of gold, a 1:100,000 geological map of Nir was investigated. Remote sensing was used by ASTER satellite data, in order to detect alterations and iron oxides in the Chah Zard area. Ultimately, phyllic, argillic, propylitic, silica and iron oxides alterations in the region were identified and separated. All geological units turned into an appropriate format after examining the importance of each unit in relation to the mineralization of gold for use in the integrated model. The mineralization controlling structures were derived from a 1: 100000 geological map of Nir and in the integrated model the fault density with radius of influence of 500 m was used. In the end, the gold mineralization potential maps were prepared by using the fuzzy logic method to combine all the layers of the host lithological units in relation to mineralization, alterations, and mineralization controllers. Finally, using this information, several zones with moderate anomaly and a strong anomaly zone with approximate area similar to Chah Zard gold deposit were identified. Therefore, during the processes, due to the location of the copper indices in the northeast and the Chah Zard gold deposit in the southwest of the study area, it can be said that this integrated model has been able to determine the high potential mineralization zones for subsequent exploratory stages.
