Selecting and scheduling urban traortation projects is inherently an urban network design problem with a complex decision making process. Recently, a large number of studies have focused on sustainable urban network design problems, using different mathematical methods. Sustainability has three dimensions including social, economic and environment. Therefore, sustainable urban network design is a multi-objective problem. In this thesis, first a new network data envelopment analysis model has been developed. Then, considering sustainability dimensions, by integrating data envelopment analysis, game theory and mathematical modeling approaches, two different efficiency based models have been proposed for selecting and scheduling urban traortation projects.
