Efficient traortation is one of the main elements of any economy and its sustainable growth. Despite this, most cities are facing major problems such as traffic, street accidents and air pollution due to the rapid growth of urban population around the world. In this regard, demand management policies can be used to get rid of traortation problems in the short term. Among these policies, congestion pricing is a measure that allows for a direct link between street traort and the passengers who produce it. Defining appropriate toll maps enables this criterion to operate on the basis of short-term demand and force passengers to move towards low-traffic routes (diversion) and sustainable traortation systems (definite diversion). Although this plan has been effective in several cities around the world (London, Stockholm, Singapore, Gothenburg and Milan).
