Decision making is the substance of the management, and undoubtedly is the most important and the most essential functions of the management that has no other function can be equated with it. Since the introduction of the knowledge management as a science, has always been proposed various functions as fundamental duties of managers. However, none of them considered it as important to the decision to not consider other issues of importance and effective, regardless of the similarities and differences. In addition, extensive literature review and numerous publications of the decision making and other related areas typically represent its importance, especially in the present time. However, many decision makers and researchers believe that decision making processes have been much more complex and imprecise today than those in the past. They essentially think that it mainly caused by the overhead of additional information, higher volatility and also higher uncertainty existing in the today decision environments. Therefore, making the effective and efficient decisions in recent years requires the tools and techniques which can deal with these complexities and uncertainties. Computational intelligence and soft computing are one of the most important and most efficient techniques, which have been proposed in order to process and analyze the complex and ambiguous systems with desired accuracy. Obtained results of the published papers in the decision making areas indicate that the considerable improvement in decisions quality, increasing efficiency, and profitability have been achieved by using such that methods.
