In this study, a porous polymer containing triazine ring was used as coating for the SPME fiber. Direct solid phase microextraction method was used for the extraction of fenthion from water samples. Surface morphology of the sorbent was studied by field emmission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). Positive corona discharge ion mobility spectrometry was used for the determination of the analyte. The experimental parameters affecting on the extraction process such as stirring rate, salt addition, temperature, and extraction time were investigated and optimized. Linear dynamic range 1-100 µg L -1 and detection limit 0.3 µg L -1 were obtained under optimized conditions. The intra- and inter-day relative standard deviation for two diffirent concentration levels were less than 10%. The sorbent were applied for the extraction of fenthion in enviromental waters such as well water, river water, and wastewater samples. The relative recoveries were obtained in the range of 80% to 106%.
