Geochemical study of stream sediments is one of the most important methods in regional and semi-detailed explorations. In this thesis, the results of the analysis of 696 samples of stream sediments taken from the 1: 100000 sheet of Jebalbarez in Kerman province have been processed by principal components analysis and independent components analysis. The intrusion of Jebalbarez is a 52-kilometer granitic batholith with north-west-south-east trending. This batholith is outcroped in the Eocene Volcanoes. Single-variable statistical processing was performed on data of Au and Cu elements and using the predict-area graph, it was determined that the data obtained from the natural logarithmic enrichment index are most consistent with the existing indices in the region. The enrichment index obtained from natural logarithmic data was calculated for all the elements studied and the results were used as input data for principal components analysis and independent components analysis. According to the results of eigenvectors of the principal components, the first principal component for Cu and the fourth principal component for Au were selected. Also, according to the results of the eigenvectors of the independent components, the inverse of third independent component for Cu and the inverse of second independent component for Au was chosen. After reviewing the predict-area graph for Au and Cu, the independent components analysis is more consistent with the existing indices in the region. Some of the analyzed elements do not correlate well with copper and gold elements. In order to remove these elements, the reduction of data dimension is used, so that in the selected component, the elements that have high correlation with the Cu and Au was selected, then the component analysis is applied to the new elements. After the reduction of data dimensions, predict-area graph shows that the independent components analysis is more consistent with the existing indices in the region
