In this project, mesoporous silica KIT-6 with high surface area was synthesized. This efficient support was used for preparation of CoPd-KIT-6 catalysts with different molar ratio Co/Pd. Also, CoPd-KIT-6 catalyst was calcined at varioutemperatures (350, 450, and 550). FT-IR, XRD, TEM, SEM, ICP and SEM-EDX-elemental mapping methods were employed for characterization of the catalysts. These catalysts were used for direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide from hydrogen and oxygen. The amount of produced hydrogen peroxide and conversion of hydrogen were calculated from redox titration with KMnO 4 (calibrated with H 2 C 2 O 4 ) and gas chromatography, respectively. Among the prepared catalysts, CoPd-KIT-6 (2) showed the best catalytic activity and the effect of different parameters including, time, catalyst dosage, amount of acid and alcohol volume were investigated using this catalyst. Under optimum reaction conditions, conversion of hydrogen, selectivity and yield of hydrogen peroxide were obtained 50%, 55% and 29%, respectively.
