Minitubers are small potato tubers without any disease which is produced in isolated and very clean medias. Despite of many benfits minitubers compared to normal tubers, they have too long dormancy. There are many physical and chemical methods, for breaking dormancy of minitubers and tubers, which each of them have advantages and disadvantages. Plant growth regulators are better and have more ability in breaking dormancy than other methods scince they naturaly exist in plant. Reaserches had shown that immersion of tubers and minitubers in gibberellic acid solution before planting would be effective in breaking dormancy. This treatment produce long and thin sprouts which would not be proper for mechanical planting. Few reaserches have done on the effects of spermine and methyl jasmonate in breaking dormancy. In this experiment effect of spraying of different concentrations of gibberellic acid , spermine and methyl jasmonate, on plantlet produced throught tissue culture two weeks before harvesting of minitubers, have been investigated. Experiment carried out to a 2×7 factorial. The first factor was 7 treatments of plant growth regulator include 50 and 100 mg l - 1 gibberellic acid , 0.1 and 1 mmol l -1 methyl jasmonate, 60 and 120 mg l -1 spermine and distillated water as a control. The second factor were two cultivars of Agria and Arinda. The measured characteristic were the number of days to sprouting, length and diameter of dominant sprout, wet and dry weight of dominant sprout, weight reduction percentage of dominant sprout, weight reduction percentage of minitubers, number of active sprouts (before and after of dominant sprout removal) and carbohydrate content of dominant sprouts. Results showed that only gibberellic acid spraying on plantlet shorten minitubers dormancy, while spraying with spermine and methyl jasmonate increased minitubers dormancy lenght. Spraying of 60 mg l -1 spermine reduced length of dominant sprout in comparison to control. non of the treatments showed significant effect on diameter of domianant sprout. Maximum and minimum amount of fresh weight of dominant sprouts were observed in 1 mmol l -1 methyl jasmonate and 60 mg l -1 spermine, respectively. All of treatments increased dry weight of dominant sprout in comparison to control. Spraying 100 mg l -1 gibberellic acid caused maximum weight loss of minitubers, caused sprouting of most sprouts before removing dominant sprout and the least number of sprouts after removing dominant sprout. The most amount of dominant sprout carbohydrate were obtained by spraying 0/1 mmol l -1 methyl jasmonate and 100 mg l -1 gibberellic acid on plantlets and the least amount was related to control Key Words : gibberellic acid, spermine, methyl jasmonate, minituber, breaking dormancy.
