Egg is a hhealthy food and rich in essential nutrients. This product is popular among people of the world and its consumption is high. Liquid whole egg (LWEs) are obtained from broken eggs and used in homogenize and pasteurized. LWE is a very important part in manufacturing form all egg based products. LWE is contaminated with gram-positive and gram negative bacteria through its shell. This reduces the shelf life of this product in refrigerator. Considering the environmental risks of petroleum’s polymer based film. In this study poly- lactic acid with poly-butylene-adipat-co-terephetalate, a petroleum source compound but biodegradable was used to prepare active film for LWE packaging. The results showed the ratio of two polymer of PLA and PBAT was 50/50, Nisin and EDTA were added to the film at the concentration of 26 ppm and 1% respectively. After preparation of the film, Nisin diffusion in the film was measuring during the storage. The result also showed that the LWE packed in the package containing Nisin and EDTA could prevent Escherichia coli, Salmonella enteritis and Staphylococcus aureus , mold and yeast’s growth during 21 day of storage and therefore increased the shelf life period from 14 day (under pasteurized condition without consumption of Nisin and EDTA) to 21 day only using Nisin and EDTA. It could be used in food industries as a biodegradable film to help to environment to be green. Keywords: Liquid whole egg, Nisin, EDTA, Poly lactic acid
