Legumes are a major source of plant proteins for humans and animals. Bean with 20 -%25 proteins, 55-56% carbohydrates and 1-5% lipids plays a major role in feeding the poor nations. Therefore, the increase in yield grain and quality of bean can be an effective way to reduce the shortage of protein in developing countries. This study was conducted in a farm in Eghlid of the Fars Province (Iran) in 2013. Experimental treatments consisted of two types of iron fertilizers in the forms of Nano iron oxide (2 and 4 per thousand) and iron sulfate (2 and 4 per thousand) and two types of zinc fertilizers in the forms of Nano zinc oxide (2 and 4 per thousand) and zinc sulfate (2 and 4 per thousand). These fertilizers were used as foliar application at eight-leaf and flowering phases.Plant height, days to flowering, number of pods per plant, number of pods per square meter, number of seeds per pod, number of seeds per plant, seed weight, seed yield, biological yield, harvest index, protein cantent as well as zinc and iron content of the grains were measured. Analysis of variance showed that iron and zinc foliar application left significant effects on measured traits.at the result of Nano iron oxide foliar application at 4 per thousand rate led to increases in number of pods per plant, number of pods per square meter, number of seeds per pod, number of seeds per plant, seed weight, seed yield, and grain's protein and iron concentration relative to the controll. Nano Iron oxide fertilizer also increased the height, harvest index and biological yield by, 15.5, 5 and 13.5 percent, respectively, compared to controll. Grain's Iron and protein content was increased under the influence of Nano iron oxide at 4 per thousand rate maximum. Grain's zinc content wa obtainedwhenNano zinc oxide was apply at 4 per thousands. Zinc sulfate fertilizer, at both levels, was less effective on the measured traits compared to other sources of fertilizers.There was a positive correlation between the number of pods per plant, seed weight, seed yield, and seed's protein and iron content and the level iron and zinc foliar application. According to our findings , the application of Nano iron oxide and Nano Zinc oxide at a 4 per thousand rate is recommended for bean production in this area.
