Wastewaters are an important source of pollution in the environment, due to the lack of fresh water resources in the country, treatment and reuse of them has become inevitable.Along with the advancement of technology, the use of combine biological wastewater treatment processing is increasing because of various reasons: including increased efficiency, organic load and shock unusual high rates. Also, the simultaneous removal of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus in a reactor has an effective in reducing the volume of wastewater treatment system and energy consumption. In this study, a new biological Anoxic- Aerobic (MLE) system in a pilot scale, which has been under intermittent feeding regimen evaluated and compared the performance of the processing for the treatment of industrial wastewater by low COD to BOD5 with batch aeriated activating sludge system. In order to analyze processing studied twelve related parameters. Results show the reduce ratio of the hydraulic retention time on hydraulic feeding. MLE bioreactor has a better performance in the removal of chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen (TN) and phosphate (PO 4 ).In this study the effect of COD removal of wastewater as a main factor of affecting the performance was considered treatment to remove nutrients. In a batch system, the highest removal efficiency for hydraulic retention time of 20 hours obtained 86/3, 93/5, 80, 56/5 and 89 percent, respectively, for removal of BOD, COD, TN, PO4 and Total Suspended Solids.
