Air pollution is one of the most important global environmental issues, especially in the large cities, that is considered as a permanent and serious threat to the public health and the environment. Different statistical methods have been used to investigate the relationship between the air pollution and weather conditions. In this study, the multiple linear regression analysis was used for investigation the impact of weather parameters and the air pollutants concentrations on the surface ozone and solar ultraviolet radiation in Isfahan. The data of a three years period of air pollutants (2009-2011) from air monitoring station of Ahmadabad square in Isfahan as well as the climatic data of Shahid Beheshti airport synoptic station in Isfahan were daily investigated. In order to study more precisely the impact of the independent variables (weather parameters and air pollutants) on the dependent variables )surface ozone and UV radiation(, the used analysis was performed monthly and seasonal. In the monthly analysis, the impact of air pollutants and the weather parameters on the surface ozone, the parameters such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides (monoxide and nitrogen dioxide), sunshine, total solar radiation and diffuse solar radiation had significant positive impact and the parameters such as sulfur dioxide, evaporation, sea level pressure and ultraviolet radiation had a significant negative effect. In the seasonal analysis, the parameters such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides (monoxide and nitrogen dioxide) had a significant positive impact, while sulfur dioxide and evaporation had significant negative impact on the ozone values. Regarding the monthly ultraviolet radiation, the sunshine, diffuse solar radiation and evaporation, had significant the positive impact and rain, Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) and PM 10 had a significant negative impact. Also in the seasonal analysis, the minimum daily temperature, sunshine, evaporation, total solar radiation and diffuse solar radiation, had significant positive impact and sea level pressure and minimum relative humidity have had significant negative impact on the ultraviolet radiation.
