In a steel production line, as strong as the connection between continuous casting and hot rolling, there will be a greater need for integrated and efficient scheduling. On the other hand, creating an integrated schedule is complex due to the technological limitations of each stage and the schedule must be developed for each production line based on its technological conditions. One of the most advanced technologies in steel industry is compact strip production technology, which is designed based on the direct relationship between continuous casting and hot rolling. So far, scheduling and planning in the field of hot rolling has been done for this technology. In this study, for compact strip production technology, the hot rolling stage batch scheduling has been developed based on the case study of Saba Steel. Also, the scheduling of stages from the beginning of continuous casting to the end of the rolling stage has been developed in the form of a new integrated model and a heuristic solution method is presented based on the characteristics of the problem
