Composites are one of the most important and extensive used engineering materials. Composite materials with low thermal expansion coefficient, high resistance to vibration fatigue feature them , as well. Civil and structural composite industry is the most widely used application areas. Compare the mechanical behavior of concrete structures exposed to aggressive environments, suggests that the combination of three factors: humidity, temperature and ambient chloride, alkaline effect Prestressed concrete and reinforcement steel corrosion, thereby reducing sure it gets. In order to improve strength and increase the mechanical strength of concrete structures, use of materials FRP (fiber reinforced polymer) to the special status allocated.in fact, the material composition of the fibers form an FRP with high performance that is been placed on a bed of polymer resin. This material, in terms of electromagnetic isolation and no corrosion problem, hence the use of such material in reinforced concrete structures, corrosion problem will fix them too greatly.The importance of these materials in strengthening and lightening up the concert materials, made us to be interested in studying the effect of employing other textile structures as the composite FRP bars reinforcements, instead of the commonly used unidirectional reinforcing fibers. Basalt fiber as well as one of inorganic fibers and compatible with nature is studied. Finally, the composite rods reinforced with basalt fiber hybrid shell-head on a bed of epoxy matrix for tissue covering Braiding and circular, production, mechanical and physical properties evaluated and with a variety of composite and steel bars were compared on the market. Seven different combinations of glass and basalt fiber hybrid was used for production of mechanical tests were carried out. Also, due to the mechanical properties of basalt fiber in the shell Braiding for more than glass fiber, the control rods containing glass fibers have been better properties. Statistical analysis applied to the results of tensile and bending test, approve the significant differences between the mechanical performances of FRP rods reinforced with basalt braid textiles in comparison with steel bars. Totally, according to the results is could be claimed that the FRP composite rods are considered as good alternatives for steel rods for concert reinforcing, due to their high mechanical performances.
