Today, manufacturers offer a commitment to the buyers of their products in order to show the quality of the products and also to pay attention to customer orientation. In fact, a guarantee or warranty is an agreement between the manufacturer (seller) of an industrial product and the customer (buyer) that is concluded at the time of sale of the product. Under the warranty, the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace the product in the event of a product breakdown, despite its proper use within a specified period of time, depending on the type of warranty policy it is responsible for. Providing a guarantee is one way to increase the competitiveness of products. The complex competitive market and customer demand have increased competition between manufacturers for better warranties in order to attract more customers. In this study, the warranty policy depends on two factors: failure time and product repair time when product failure occurs. If the repair takes longer than the repair threshold, the product is replaced. During the warranty period, the policy of minimum repairs or renewable replacement applies. According to this policy, the manufacturer is obliged to make the minimum repair for the defective product immediately.
