Schiff base ligand L a was synthesized by name (E)-5-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)isophthalic acid and polymeric Schiff base ligand L b was prepared using direct polycondensation reaction L a and 4,4?-diaminodiphenyl ether in the ionize liquid tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB). Then, titanium dioxide with different weight percent of 5, 10 and 15 was immobilized over the surface of Schiff base polymer by sonicating. The provided compounds were characterized by FT-IR, UV-Vis, EDX, XRD, TGA and FE-SEM. Based on XRD, titanium dioxide as the anatase and rutile phases, was immobilized over the surface of polymer. According to TGA studies, the thermal stability of L b /TiO 2 was increased with increasing the TiO 2 through 5, 10 and 15 percent. The catalytic activity of L b /TiO 2 nanocompounds (5, 10 and 15 %) was studied to reduction of para nitrophenol in the presence of NaBH 4 . The reaction development of the catalytic destruction was monitored by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The results showed that, the L b /TiO 2 (5, 10 and 15 %) nanocompounds can be recyclable
