Ad-Hoc Wireless Network is a mobile wireless communication environment. In the future, multimedia applications in wireless networks will be very common. For representation of these services in MANET, we need to improve the QoS routing algorithms. In some situations, for example in Relayed Wireless Access Network, mobile stations have a limited forwarding capability. In other words, each MS can participate in a limited number of connections. When mobile stations have a limited forwarding capability, a number of routes may be blocked. Path blocking may cause significant reduction in the success ratio of the routing algorithms. In this thesis, QoS routing algorithms with limited forwarding capability have been considered. Appropriate routing methods and metrics for decreasing path blocking ratio are porposed. For this purpose, properties of MANET have been reviewed and routing algorithms, routing metrics and existing QoS routing problems in the networks have been studied. Furthermore, a number of solutions are introduced and their efficiency is evaluated through simulation.
