The studied area is located about 100 kilometers south-southwest city of Yazd and 30 km south of the Garyzat village. It is located in the central part of the Uromiyeh-Dokhtar magmatic belt, within the Deh Shir fault zone. In this research, geological, mineralogical, geochemical and remote sensing studies were carried out in the Chahezard epithermal gold deposit. The main aim of this study is determination of gold potential areas and designing complementary drilling grids using Fuzzy Logic data integration model. The 1:1000 scale geological map of the Chahezard area was used to locate favourable lithological units, associated with gold mineralization, as binary map. Aster and ETM + satellite imagery of the study area were processed to identify hydrothermal alterations such as argillic and alunite as well as iron oxides. All geological units, after considering the priority of each units associated with gold mineralization, were converted to the appropriate format by applying the fuzzy Logic data integration model. tructures, controlling mineralization, were obtained from the 1:1000 geologic maps, buffered by 15, 30, 45 and 90 meters and used in the data integration model. Five hundred litho-geochemical samples were collected from outcrops, trenches and soil and analysed for 44 elements by ICP method. Then a primary processing and basic statistics were applied on different elements. By using a correlation study between gold and associated elements, univariate and multivariate statistical analyses as well as factor analysis, paragenesis of gold mineralization in the trench samples, threshold elements, uni-element and multi-element distribution maps and gold mineralization factor were identified. Finally, by combining all the exploration layers such as gold host lithologies, hydrothermal alterations and structures associated mineralization and geochemical anomalies, a gold mineralization potential map were prepared using Fuzzy Logic method. The developed integrated exploration model determined several zones of high gold mineralizing potential for further exploration such as designing complementary drilling sites. The identified high potential areas by Fuzzy Logic data integration model correspond very well with the locations 9 previously drilled bore hole
