Sari Gunay gold deposit is located in Kurdistan province . This is 42 kilometer Qorve and 60 kilometer west of Hamadan. This area includes Sari Gunay and Aghdagh mountains. Mining processes has been done from many years ago in this area. Primary process of mining in this area relates to construction of Asia rock with dacit generation ,so that Baharloo village located in this area is known as Asia construction rock. Mining exploration processes has been done in this area mostly on several stibnite veins in the past 50 to 70 years and Sari Gunay has never discussed as an epithermal gold deposit. In beginning of 70 decade mining exploration was started by 'mining and metal Kurdistan institute'. By assigning this area to the English-Australian company named Riotinto, mining exploration continued more widely than before. At the moment, detailed exploration and utilization of this deposit is assigned to Zarkooh mining company. 70 percent of this company's shares owned by Kazakhstan's and 30 percent owned by Iran Country. In this research in order to study and identify Alterations related to gold mineralization, several methods such as remote sensing, geology and studying of surface mineral and deep samples, and geochemical studies is used. In order to identify the alterations by the remote sensing method, Aster satellite data are used. By interpreting images, it was found that most of alterations of area were fillic(seristic),argilic and propelitic. The accuracy of remote sensing studies was checked by sampling the region and studying the samples. Thus most of the samples proved the accuracy of these assumptions. Also in this research geochemical data obtained from 1064 rock samples which was in shape of line profile and with the distance of 150 meters were used. The accuracy of remote sensing and mineral studies were proved by using different Univariate and Multivariate analysis and producing different geochemical Halu maps and comparison and adaption of these maps with remote sensing maps and the results of geology stududies in GIS software.
