In this thesis, new complexes of lead and zinc by using pyridine type and cupferonate ligands are synthesized and their crystal structure are determined. These complexes were characterized by different techniques such as: UV-Vis, FT-IR, FE-SEM, TGA-DTA and different NMR spectroscopies. The crystal structures of the complexes were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). Based on TGA analyses nano-oxides of lead were synthesized by thermal decomposition method. Also, one of the lead complexes was used as a molecule precursor for preparation of lead oxide doped TiO 2 . Then it was ubjected to thermal decomposition. These nanoparticles were characterized by FT-IR, FE-SEM, TEM and XRD analyses. The photocatalytic properties of the doped lead oxide nanoparticles on TiO 2 were also examined.
