Among the common methods of cancer treatment, hyperthermia is a widespread treatment method with lower side effects compared to other techniques. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a non-invasive method that allows accurate identification of the shape and location of tumors. In both hyperthermia and MRI different types of nanoparticles are used. Therefore, the synthesis of particles that are simultaneously suitable for hyperthermia and MRI can be an effective step in the simultaneous diagnosis and treatment of cancer. In this study, two approaches were used for this purpose. In the first approach, two types of magnetic nanoparticles, cobalt ferrite and manganese-
