In this project introduced a new phase transfer catalyst and after supporting it on bentonite, used it in bromination of some aromatic compounds. After equipped process including washing bentonite, homogenized and determination structural properties, effective surface (63 m 2 /g) and calculated CMC used it as bed for surfactant stabiliz- ation in bilayer. After that, available Br - with surfactant, oxidized by V 2 O 5 /H 2 O 2 or oxone in presence of KBr as source of Br - and totally used for bromination organic aromatic compounds. Also used FT-IR and UV spectroscopy to confirm formation of trihalaid ion. These reactions were selective. For example bromination of anisol, produced 98% para product. Then blank reactions has done and at the end catalyst were reused.
