Mariculture is a relatively new activity that is expanding globally and interacts with other coastal uses. Therefore, it is necessary to allocate suitable sites considering environmental, economic, physical and bathymetry features, as well as exploitation by other users. The Persian Gulf and Oman Sea coasts have high potential to develop cage aquaculture. Marine spatial planning is an essential tool to develope aquaculture in this region. This paper used four siting aquaculture cages in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran. The site multi-criteria evaluation (Boolean, Fuzzy, WLC, OWA) and weighting methods, and the criterion weighting procedures (AHP and BWM) to identify suitable areas for experts. The resulted maps generated by Fuzzy, WLC, OWA were then Keywords: aquaculture, selection was based on environmental, economic, physical and bathymetry criteria. The weighting procedure was performed using questionaries filled by marine spatial planning, integrated coastal zone management, multi criterion evaluation, best worst method
