The landscape pattern is made by land use and land cover arrangment, and is dynamic. Change detection in spatial pattern is so essential for better understanding of landscape dynamic during the time as well as landuse planning and reaching the conservation aims. By producing of land use and land cover map during the time, we are getting to know the landscape pattern and we can understand its changes and the relationship between its fitments. Today, satellite data, provide applied data for this aim. land use and land cover changes detection of area, can help the managers to perform proper management along with considering trade of past changes of the area. Moteh wildlife refuge has proper habitats for big ungulates and one of the most important is Iranian deer. In this research we used the satellite images of MSS 1351, TM 1366 1377, and also LISS III 1385. the images were selected form spring season and the first half of Khordad, because the vegetation has the biggest crown at this time. the images of MSS were selected from summer because of the limitation of this images. For preparation images, the most recent image was georeferenced with a 1:25000 map and the other images were georeferenced according to that. RMSE was below one in all cases. with resampling method, images resolution changed into 30 meters. Topography correction was done using DEM and Lamberti model. land use and land cover maps, was produced with hybrid clussification method. the land cover map was produced by field sampling and using SAVI Vegetation index for each image in 4 ltr"
