Today, considering the unique characteristics of the switched reluctance motor, like simple structure and style, the rotor without winding and permanent magnet, cheap price, high reliability, high power density, and suitable torque-to-volume ratio, the researchers have a more detail analysis of motor in terms of structure and performance. In recent years, most objective the researchers in the research, on SR motors converter, there were increase the negative voltage applied to both ends of the motor phases at the time of demagnetization that this work is done by changes in the structure of the converter. Increase demagnetization voltage, increase output torque of the motor, and thus, power output of the motor is increased, and also reduce commutation time between the two phases cause be, reduce motor torque ripple. As well as, this will be followed increase efficiency at high speeds. In this regard, presented numerous papers each has their advantages and disadvantages. Some converters have been introduced, a simple structure at the same time, without having control on the capacitors voltage. But it has disadvantage that limiting the applied demagnetization voltage in different overlap angles. Other converters able to control capacitor voltage, the introduction of converter with the ability to apply of variable demagnetization voltage and unrestricted in different overlap angles, the converter due the different structure is a large and low efficiency and also, this converter only are considered unidirectional converters. More been introduced into the converter that has by applying the positive and negative cycles, during a motor mechanical movement increase efficiency. According to introduced converters we tried to introduce converter with structure quite different previous to the converters the purpose of reducing their disadvantages. Proposed converters have not only disadvantages previous converters such restrictions in different overlap angles, it has a very simple structure and without additional electronic devices the result would be to lower than the efficiency in the motor and increasing volume of drive. Also, this converters structure so that can be applied in some cases the negative current cycle the motor phases and it can be used as a bipolar converters. It not only does not interfere with motor performance, also can lead to increased efficiency. As well as the proposed converters is such that we can easily and without changes in structure of it. And just with changing in switching method we can use as a conventional asymmetric converters.
