The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of pomegranate peel powder (PPP) on growth performance and health of Holstein calves. Experiment was carried out based on a Randomized Block Design with 4 treatment groups including 15 pens per each dietary treatment (7 male and 8 female Holstein calves) until 75 days of age. Dietary treatments consisted of 1) Starter diet + 0 % 2) Starter diet + 3 % 3) Starter diet + 6 % 4) Starter diet + 9 % . Addition of 6% into the starter diet leads to a lower weaning weight and final weight compared with blank and 3% , while it has not significant difference in comparison with 9% treatments (p?0.05). 3% treatment provided more Daily weight gain in comparison with 6 and 9% treatments (p?0.05). It also showed higher dry matter intake and intake of starter compared with blank and 6% treatments (p?0.05).3% treatment had better Food efficiency than 9% treatment in per-weaning. The whole period 9% treatment had lowest Food efficiency in comparison with blank and 35 treatments (p?0.05). No difference was observed between treatments in term of body conformation. 9% treatment showed lower levels of blood glucose relative to the blank and 3% treatments at 75 days of age (p?0.05).There were no significant changes in ?HBA, blood urine nitrogen, albumin and total protein of blood at 75 days. Also, there was no significant change in antioxidant capacity at 45 and 75 days of age. A significant reduction (p?0.05) in the amount of AST enzyme was observed in 9% treatment at 75 days of age in comparison with blank. Also, the amount of ALT enzyme in 6 and 9% treatments at 75 days showed a significant reduction relative to blank. The addition of into the Starter diet resulted in ammonia nitrogen reduction in Rumen. There was no difference between treatment in terms of health, Digestibility and the results of this study showed that the addition of at 3% level provides best conditions that prevent negative effects on animal growth and haspositive effects on dry matter intake and Daily weight gain calves.
