During the past decades, industrial development and population growth forced the communities and countries to progress but followed by implications for natural environment. Industrial processes that convert the raw material to the target products come along with some amount of wastes in form of material or energy forms which are able to influence and change the environment. If there is no waste control and management, it will cause much environmental pollution in turn. Petrochemical industry is considered as one of the biggest (producing) sources of environmental pollutants where according to type of input material, type of process, and type of products, they release different pollutants. The main components of an integrated waste management are the storage, collection and traort, processing, neutralization, and disposal. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a tool that is applying used for the evaluation of the waste management system from environmental point of view and analyze the inputs and outputs of a waste management system according to the process’s or product’s life cycle from the extraction stage of raw materials to the production stage where wastes are being produced according to the ISO 14040-3 standard. In this research the traort options of the waste management of Iran’s Special Petrochemical Economic Zone were studied. To analyze the environmental impacts of the traort activities SimaPro 8.0.4.30 package, using IMPACT 2002 + (v. 2.11) method, were applied within 4 scenarios. The results showed the highest environmental effects “Huma health” (67.2267 DALY) and “Inorganic respiratory substances” (equivalent to the 95841.4898 kgPM 2.5 eq )among the factors of “Damage” and “Impact” categories, respectively. The traort activities had the lowest potential effects on the damage category of of “Ecosystem quality” (equal to 3026053.0379 PDF×m 2 ×yr) where in this category Terrestrial acidification/nitrification (equivalent to the 2158934.4026 kgSO 2 eq) has had the highest effects. In the damage category of “Resource” the highest potential effect was on the “Non-renewable energy” (equal to 437130102.2665 MJprimary). It can be concluded that scenario of the “Traort the wastes to recycling centers” was chosen as the best management scenario based on the environmental effects. .
