Nowadays in response to the development of big cities, the exapansion of traortation system is very vital. Due to the shortage of free ground space, traortation system is inevitable. The construction of new underground openings such as metro tunnels could probably pass near or crossing of other tunnels. The east-west part of Line 7 in Tehran Metro begins from Amir-al-momenin district and continues to the cross section of Qazvin street and Navab Highway. The length of this part is about 12 Km and is excavated by EPB shield which has 9/164 meter diameter. One of the challenges in metro tunnel excavation at the east-west rout is its cross passing beneath station line1 of Tehran Metro. Station Line1 with rectangular cross section has 18 meter width, 12 meter height and 2 meter overburden and is constructed by cut and cover method. According to available studies the metro tunnel is crossed the station line1. According to station line1 the stability of station is significant an the deformation of tunnel lining must be as low as possible. Besides, according to cross section of two unlevel two tummels ground settlement must consider. Therefore, requirement parameters of machine excavation such as face pressure, advance rate and grouting pressure should adjust in relation to station and ground condition regarding cross section of both tunnel. The main aim of this study is to investigate stability station and ground settlement by numerical methods. The software was used FLAC3D. At the first stage, the appropriate face pressure is obtained using analytical methods and applied is numerical analysis. For validation of FLAC3D modeling, PLAXIS 3D TUNNEL is used and assessed with instrumentation results.The comparison of values by modeling FLAC3D with actual values and modeling values PLAXIS 3D TUNNEL expresses reassurance finite difference method.The modeling results show maximum ground settlement is 2/45 centimeter as within the allowable range and station Line1 is stable. To avoid additional settlement at ground face and the station Line 1, the suitable grouting pressure should use cohesion and friction angle should increase and soil permeability decrease.
