Population growth in recent years led to rapid growth of motor vehicles, and consequently the growth of traffic and air pollution. Setting up high quality bus system is one of the emerging sustainable traort policy that is used today in many cities. One of the important measures to evaluate any traortation system is identifying indicators associated with it. This study aims to identify indicators of sustainable traort related to brt system. In this research, sustainable traort indicators related to brt divided in three categories: economic, social and environmental. Since the Passenger attraction of system strongly depends on performance of system, the first phase of Isfahan BRT has been compared with other cities around the world in some indicators and the strengths and weaknesses of each index will be stated. Affordable fare, appropriate fleet efficiency, congestion during peak hours and low implementation Cost can be mentioned as the most important outcomes of this comparison. Afterward before and after scenario have been evaluated in order to assess the effectiveness of both financial and economic aspects of system. Although it is resulted that the economic benefit-cost ratio is upper than 1; financial benefit-cost ratio is lower than 1. By increasing the price of tickets from 300 to 400 toman ca increase system operator revenue and B/C ratio will be more than 1 of the financial perspective.
