In this research replacing cereal farming with forage farming in five locations in Booein and Miandasht was investigated. Each location was selected randomly and above ground yield of sainfoin, alfalfa and wheat were measured using 1 m 2 plot with 40 replications. Above ground yield and economical income were analyzed using software. The most significant ecological characteristics including: climate (47 factors), soil (13 factors), and physiographic (2 factors) were studied and cluster analysis was performed on them. C C Analysis (CCA) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) used in relation to dry matter production and ecologic conditions of investigated plants. Two growing regions were designated.First growing region included locations 4, 1, 5 and the second one includes locations 2 and 3. Results of two growing regions revealed. Only 26 factors (25 climatic and 1 physiographic factors) were influential on dir=ltr Key Words: sainfoin, alfalfa, economic returns, dry land farms, Isfahan
